The Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) has now taken over the responsibility of the certification of Apprenticeships from the EYNTO.

The CWDC will honour all applications made on the old apprenticeship frameworks from issues 1 – 6. The new apprenticeships in Child Care Learning and Development have been developed from the Early Years Care and Education framework and are due to commence from 1st November 2005.
